Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely threw shade at the Kansas City Chiefs following his club’s season-opening defeat to the defending champions.

“I’d say this is probably the worst game we’re going to play all year,” Likely told reporters, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.

“So, if this is the best that they got, good luck in the postseason.”

The Ravens outgained the Chiefs on offense with 452 yards to Kansas City’s 353. Baltimore drove down the field with a chance to tie the game on their last possession but came up short after Likely’s toe landed out of bounds in the back of the end zone on the final play.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson also missed a wide-open Zay Flowers on the previous snap.

Baltimore got out to an early lead after scoring on the game’s opening drive, but Patrick Mahomes went right down the field to tie the contest on the next possession. The Ravens never led again.

Likely shined on Thursday night, leading the club in targets (12), receptions (nine), and receiving yards (111).

Kansas City has defeated Baltimore in four of their last five meetings dating back to 2019.
