The 37-year-old is just one of four players in the history of the league to win a title with three separate teams, joining Robert Horry, John Salley, and LeBron James. Green first won the Larry O’Brien Trophy in 2013-14 with the San Antonio Spurs before back-to-back triumphs in 2019 and 2020 with the Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Lakers.

Green last played for the Philadelphia 76ers in their first two games of the 2023-24 campaign but finished without a point in just over a combined 18 minutes. He was waived in November as a result of the James Harden trade.

Green averaged 8.7 points and 3.4 rebounds across 15 seasons. He shot 40% from deep, including a career-best 45.5% during his lone year in Toronto. The North Carolina product also won a national title in his 2008-09 senior season.
