Charlotte is also trading former second-round pick James Nnaji to New York.
Nnaji has yet to play in the NBA after being selected No. 31 overall in 2023. The 6-foot-11 center has spent the last three seasons with Spanish club FC Barcelona. He’s currently on loan with fellow Liga ACB team Girona.
Randle will receive $4.13 million as part of a trade bonus, reports The Athletic’s Fred Katz.
The Hornets also obtained $7.2 million in cash, sources told ESPN’s Bobby Marks.
