Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons was carted to the locker room after sustaining an apparent leg injury in the fourth quarter of Thursday’s game against the New York Giants.
Parsons went down after a Giants offensive lineman rolled onto his leg late. The All-Pro defender was helped off the field and spent time in the blue medical tent before leaving the contest.
Parsons – who finished in the top three for Defensive Player of the Year in each of his first three NFL seasons – recorded two tackles (one for loss) before leaving the game.
The 25-year-old also sustained a neck injury in the first half Thursday. He spent time on the sideline and missed a few plays but managed to return.
