Patrick Mahomes became the Chiefs’ all-time passing leader, rookie receiver Xavier Worthy scored two touchdowns in his NFL debut, and Kansas City held on to beat the Baltimore Ravens 27-20 on Thursday at Arrowhead Stadium in the 2024 season opener.

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens marched down the field and were inches away from a last-second touchdown, but tight end Isaiah Likely stepped out of bounds after a spectacular catch. The play was originally called a TD on the field but ended up being overturned seconds later.
